The Vision

The Transformation
The Redefined Shower Area
One of the homeowners’ first requests was to remove the unused bathtub, freeing up space for a larger, more open shower layout. The original 36″ x 42″ enclosure felt small, dark, and dated, boxed in by frosted glass. We expanded the footprint to 48″ x 48″ and designed a shower that feels bright, airy, and refined. To add both function and style, we built in a tiled niche for storage and tiled the walls floor-to-ceiling with Cloe by Bedrosians, giving the space a fully custom, elegant look.
The Flooring and Ditra HEAT
Comfort was another key priority. We installed Ditra Heat radiant flooring (240V) beneath Vanilla Brushed marble tile from Floor & Décor, providing efficient, consistent warmth—an especially thoughtful addition for aging-in-place comfort.
A Re-imagined Vanity Area
In the vanity area, we replaced the oversized but inefficient double-sink with a 60″ Teodor Bridgeport vanity and matching linen cabinet, creating both symmetry and smarter storage. The new setup maximized usable counter space while giving the room a clean, elevated look.
We also relocated power to accommodate a towel warmer beside the vanity and introduced recessed perimeter lighting within the soffit, adding soft, balanced illumination while keeping the vanity lighting perfect for daily use.
The Result
Completed within the $38,000 budget, this Woodland primary bathroom remodel turned a simple water repair into a complete transformation. The homeowners gained a brighter, more comfortable, and better-organized space—one that feels luxurious without excess and timeless without trend chasing.
What began as a practical necessity became a thoughtful redesign rooted in craftsmanship and purpose—proof that with the right plan, every square foot can make a lasting impact.
