The Vision

The Transformation

The Mantle

We began by assessing the unfinished space and laying out a clear, efficient plan to move forward. The first priority was delivering the custom mantle that the homeowner had been promised but never received. Our team designed and built a mantle out of white oak, finished with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in Dark Roast, creating a centerpiece that balanced clean lines with warmth and character.

Fireplace Face

With the mantle complete, attention turned to the fireplace face. To bring depth and texture, we installed a Cultured Stone veneer, giving the wall a natural, timeless look that instantly elevated the living space. We also designed a custom inset tiled area within the stone to neatly accommodate the TV mount and electrical hookups—ensuring both functionality and a polished finish.

The Fireplace Insert

Finally, we reinstalled the fireplace unit itself: an Enviro M55C-FPI-2 cast iron, multi-fuel compatible stove. Paired with the new hearth tile, this setup delivered both durability and efficiency, while tying seamlessly into the updated design.

The Result

In just 4 days start to finish, we were able to take this fireplace from an unfinished frustration to a completed showpiece—all within a budget of $7,545. The result is a fireplace that finally feels complete—grounded in craftsmanship, balanced in design, and ready to be enjoyed.

What began as a stalled vision became a finished space the homeowners are proud to gather around. This project is a reminder that with the right contractor, even long-delayed dreams can be brought to life.
